The Mass Readings

The Epistle and Gospel for every Sunday, holy day, and principal feria of the year, after the Roman use, from the 1582 Rheims New Testament’s own lectionary table. Each reading links to its chapter.

The print keys each reading by page; here those pages are resolved to their chapter. Readings drawn from the Old Testament were omitted in the 1582 New Testament (“till the edition thereof”). Where the Douay itself later tabulated one, it is supplied here in italic from its own Table of the Epistles taken forth of the Old Testament; the weekday Masses of Lent, the Ember days, and the votive Masses were never tabulated, and those show a Gospel alone. For the exact verses, open the linked chapter.
