This site runs no analytics of any kind, sets no cookies, and loads no scripts, fonts, or images from advertising networks, social platforms, or any other third party. Nothing here counts you, profiles you, fingerprints you, or follows you between sites or over time. There is no record of what you read.
We would rather not know. A Bible should be read without being watched.
To remember your reading preferences — such as your chosen theme, text size, edition, and the last chapter you read — the site stores small settings in your own browser. These remain on your device, are never sent to us, and can be cleared at any time from your browser.
If you contact us by email, your message and contact details are used solely for correspondence and are not shared, sold, or distributed.
If you submit a correction through the site’s error-report form, your report is stored solely so that we can verify and fix the text. It is not shared, sold, or used for any other purpose.
Two operational notes, for completeness. The site is delivered through a content delivery network (Cloudflare), which momentarily processes your IP address to route the request and protect against attacks; this is a necessity of serving any website, is not used to identify or profile you, and is governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. That network also keeps its own aggregate traffic counts, which we can see: totals such as how many requests the site served and from which countries, with nothing tied to a person and no record of who read what. And the facsimile page images are served from this press’s own storage on that same network, so opening a facsimile fetches an image file — and nothing else.
