In this work are set forth all the points of faith discussed and defined by the sacred Council of Trent; the errors of those same innovators are refuted; and answer is made to their objections and to those of Pietro Soave, who censures the Council. There are added, moreover, two treatises, or appendices: the one on the manner in which grace operates in the justification of the sinner; the other on the obedience due to the definitions of the Church, which are the rules of the true faith.
